Evesham II 42pts, Pershore 0
AN INSPIRED display from the hosts made for a comfortable win over a committed Pershore side.
Evesham's free flowing play was all too apparent throughout, culminating in the try of the game from winger James Maude after a superb team effort.
IT was 20-0 at the interval thanks to scores from Mike Hodges, Alex Badger and Maurice Parkinson allied to the trusty boot of centre Tim Carsberg.
Pershore's best attacking efforts were thwarted prior to the whistle but it was back to the other end after the restart when Carsberg extended Evesham's lead with a penalty.
Player of the match Matt Archer then went over twice from set-pieces before Maude's scintillating touchdown capped an excellent home showing.
