EVENING News stories appearing on November 11 made me shudder.
I first read the one headlined "Rid our city of street rejects" and then the relatively insignificant Page 2 story entitled "Fears that man could freeze to death".
We are used to having commercial Christmas greed pushed at us by city stores, from as early as October, but isn't it offensive to read that human life is not as valuable as profits?
It's time we addressed the problems our people face, not hide them away and pretend they don't exist.
