THESE children have plenty to smile about as they celebrate Christmas early.
Father Christmas chose to give his reindeer a rest and arrive at Sunnyside School in Barbourne Terrace, Worcester, by horse and cart.
It was a surprise visit for the children, who had been feasting on a Christmas lunch yesterday.
"It was a very special surprise," said Mitzi Edwards, a teacher at the school.
"Father Christmas spoke to all the children and asked them what they wanted for Christmas and he gave them all a little gift."
Afterwards, the children went outside to his "sleigh" and sang Christmas carols and songs from their concert.
"It was a magical afternoon," added Mrs Edwards.
