TOMORROW night (Saturday) come and join the village Christmas carol, an evening of words, music and carols celebrating Christmas in Powick Parish Hall, from 7.30pm to 9pm. Free admission, plus festive refreshments.
Christmas services begin on Sunday, December 23, with a carol service at St Peter's Church, Powick,1am. This will be led by the combined choirs from Powick and the Parish Singers from Guarlford and Madresfield churches. On Christmas Eve, Midnight Communion will be celebrated at 11.30pm, followed on Christmas Day by Parish Communion at 11am.
Volunteers to help with the decorating of Powick Church for Christmas are welcome at the church on Friday, December 21 from noon . Any enquiries ring Jenny Hill on (01905) 830672 and offers of greenery will be welcome.
Powick Handbell Ringers will be out and about in Powick and Callow End in the week before Christmas, favourite Christmas carols will be played and any money collected go to local charities.
