IN a tight and hard game Upton and Malvern were well matched. Upton scoring the first try after an unusual mistake from Malvern but Malvern soon came back with a Carl Demeda push over.
UPTON 10pts, MALVERN SEAGULLS 10pts
Then ten minutes later J Shipply ran a try in the corner, Upton getting one back before the whistle.
The second half Malvern camped in the Upton half but could not get past a resilient Upton defence in an enjoyable game played well by both sides.
