RESIDENTS in Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa interested in helping children with dyslexia are being urged to make room in their diaries for a special event taking place next year.
A workshop, teaching practical approaches to dyslexia support for children and parents, will be held on Thursday, March 14 at University College Worcester.
It has been organised by Worcestershire County Council's parent partnership service and the Hereford and Worcester branch of the National Association for Special Education Needs (NAS-EN).
The Learning Behaviour Support Service, which helps children with learning and behavioural difficulties, has also agreed to help with the event, which will run from 7pm to 9pm.
More details will be available in the New Year, and the workshop will hopefully be followed by a parents' day in either May or June.
For more details, call NASEN branch secretary Alison Robins on (01905) 855468.
