I AM happy to respond to the invitation of F Thomas (You Say, December 4).
George Cowley is perfectly entitled to his opinion and to express it publicly.
If we dislike his contributions, we are under no obligation to read them.
His comments concerning motorists are hard-hitting, thought-provoking and purposeful. If they cause just one inconsiderate motorist to think again they will be well worthwhile.
This is the difference between constructive criticism and condemnatory carping.
