BLACKMAIL, murder, and suspense are the ingredients of thriller The Deep End (15) showing this week at Malvern Cinema.
The film stars Tilda Swinton and Goran Visnjic, from the popular TV series ER.
Swinton plays housewife Margaret Hall, who awakes one morning to be confronted with the body of her son's gay lover dead outside her Lake Tahoe home in America.
The Deep End is on at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and Monday to Thursday, and 5.30pm on Sunday. There are 2pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
The cinema, part of the Malvern Theatres, is also now taking bookings for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (PG) which is running from Friday, December 21 to Thursday, January 10, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (PG), which is on from Friday, January 11 until Thursday, January 24.
