KEYZ started well and took an early lead in this Worcester Sunday League Division Three fixture.
KEYZ RM 4, CLAINES 2
Keyz then increased the lead with Mitchell on target and at this stage looked on course for an easy win but they relaxed and allowed Claines to take control of midfield and pull a goal back, making the half time score 2-1.
Keyz made two changes at the start of the second half bringing Mark Watling and Sean Nolan into the fray.
Keyz were pushed back for a while and Claines grabbed the equaliser but the home side responded well and went in front again through Mitchell and began to get on top but the Claines keeper made several fine saves to keep them in the game.
With ten minutes to go a Claines player was dismissed and Mitchell settled the issue with a cool finish for his hat-trick to cap a fine individual performance.
All in all, a good result for Keyz but the constant reshuffling of the side due to non arrivals does not help and affects everyone involved with the club.
Finally thanks to Anne and Reg for their continued support.
