LEE Tandy's FEAR side stayed top of the Malvern & District Pool League table after an 8-1 victory over the shell-shocked Legionnaires, with M McDonagh winning the single frame for the Cradley outfit.
Neil Douch will not be very pleased because after going five out of five wins, they have lost the last two matches by 8-1.
FEAR face the other powerful side this Sunday (December 16), The Baliff's, with pro-pool player Shaun Daly at the helm.
This could prove decisive in the following match ups also Soup Holtham faces his old team at the Cross Keys at 8pm.
The Bailiff's were certainly not at their best last week, as Phil Lakey's Robopot OCP dipped on the last game to unluckily lose 4-5, so the Baliff's kept their 100 per cent record alive with six wins from six.
Bottom side the Bar Studs, from the Bell at Bosbury, recorded their first victory in the league with a 7-2 win over the Super Dudes who replace them on the bottom.
Baldies Battlers, of the same table, conquered the Magnificent 7 by 6-3 at the Upton Social Club. Now the halfway point has been reached a delegates meeting will be arranged early in the New Year.
