WORCESTER Wolves Basketball Club are fired up to make it two home wins in successive weeks tonight.

Liverpool are the visitors to University College Worcester (7pm), and Wolves are full of confidence after a success over Cardiff last week.

Player-coach Rick Solvason said: "We badly needed to get another win under our belts. For the most part during the game we didn't shoot particularly well from outside, but the big guys did well and did a good job on rebounds from our own boards."

Wolves have already met Liverpool twice this season, winning at home but losing away.

Solvason said: "We are fairly up to date with how they play and their personnel, and it won't be for lack of knowledge if anything goes wrong.

"They are not going to be any bigger than us, and if we can do well inside it will make it a lot easier for us. Colin Chiverton and Nick Vinsonneau had quite a bit of success with their inside players last time."

Wolves are expecting another big crowd, and with another home game against Ware to come next Saturday, Solvason knows it is important to go into the Christmas break with more wins than losses under their belts.
