FORMER North Midlands Cup winners Camp Hill and Dixonians will launch their belated challenge for this season's title this weekend.
Both rugby clubs will have home advantage in delayed first round ties with Camp Hill entertaining Kidderminster Carolians today and Dixonians having home advantage against Birmingham rivals Aston OE tomorrow.
The winners of the two games will meet in the quarter-finals on December 30 with either Camp Hill or Kidderminster having home advantage.
One other delayed first round tie will be played tomorrow with Telford hosting Old Yardleians and one quarter-final tie between Pershore and Newport, last season's beaten finalist. All the other quarter-finals will now be played on December 30.
North Midlands Shield matches to be played tomorrow are: First round: Stourport v Ludlow, Aldridge v Clee Hill. Second round: Stourbridge Lions v Warley, Veseyans v Five Ways OE, Edwardians v Birmingham CS, Redditch v O Griffinians, Ledbury v Dudley Wasps.
