I TOTALLY agree with Trevor Wainwright on the plight of our city's homeless (You Say, November 30) but I go even further.
On September 28, I wrote about the decline of the city's public conveniences stock and the consequences of such policy.
I have seen normal people relieving themselves in shop door fronts and alleyways in the Cornmarket, Mealcheapen Street, New Street and Charles Street.
The Evening News wrote several articles about some of the regulars of the Chicago Rock Caf using Nash's Passage to urinate and indulge in sex, to the disgust of the residents.
Sometimes, homeless people are their own worst enemy. But, that said, let us not make them a scapegoat for our wrongs.
In Worcester, there are no public conveniences left open during the evening for the needs of hundreds of people who come out of pubs and clubs, so the inevitable is bound to happen.
