AS the festive season looms, no doubt Christmas will mean many different things to many different people but Worcester's Huntingdon Hall has this covered.

The hall has booked Artisan, a Yorkshire vocal trio which will be looking at every aspect of Christmas in a light-hearted, yet poignant way.

With a title like Stuff the Turkey, it's no surprise Jacey Bedford of the group claims audiences leave with a smile on their faces. And after 12 years doing the show and a 22-venue tour this year, the three have got to be doing something right.

We do find people think it is funny and seem to have a great time, she said.

During the performance there is a lot of silliness but there is also a lot of seriousness. We also have a 20-minute panto during the play, so although the show has some very poignant parts it is great fun.

She added the chance to perform again in Worcester was a real bonus for her not just because the hall is one of her favoured venues, but because it means she can do her Christmas shopping.

Tickets to Tuesday's show, which cost £9 or £8 with concessions, are available from the hall's box office on 01905 748200.
