AN AWARD-winning photographic store which offers the latest computerised technology has opened its 97th shop in Worcester.
Snappy Snaps in the CrownGate shopping centre will be managed by Prakash Vaitha who says his technical and design skills will stand him in good stead.
The chain of stores have won Amateur Photographer High Street Photo Lab of the Year for five years running and now Worcester will be able to enjoy the facilities which have made Snappy Snaps famous all over the country, said Mr Vaitha.
Engineer
He is a fully trained design engineer who has previously worked on major schemes such as the Euro Tunnel Project where he was involved in helping design the locomotives.
"My technical and design skills will certainly stand me in good stead in my new business venture which combines both technical and aesthetic elements," said Mr Vaitha.
"With its state-of-the-art digital minilab equipment the store will add a new dimension to photo processing in Worcester."
"This is a marvellous opportunity to show people the advances which have been made in photo imaging," said Mr Vaitha.
"There are so many things that can be done with photographs today and I'm looking forward to showing Worcester just what a difference a Snappy Snaps store can make."
