DROITWICH Spa Fencing Club's members have enjoyed success over recent months, notably wheel-chair fencer Mark Fuller winning the senior sportsman of the year award presented by Sport Worcester and Worcester City Council.
Other achievements include Simon Axon finishing 17th out of 68 in the men's senior foil at the Hereford and Worcester Open.
In the Birmingham Schools championships Ian Perkins was 12th out of 127 entrants in the senior boys' foil.
Emily Davey was fifth in the senior girls' foil also out of 127 competitors.
Grade one foil awards have gone to the following junior club members: James Clark, Tom Hughes, Sean Hughes, Joshua Williams, Nick Price, Fiona Grimer, Luke Reece, Edward Andrews, James Roberts, Rowena Roberts, Megan Roberts.
Senior Gareth Roberts has been awarded grade one epee and Mark Fuller grade one and two for sabre.
