TWO fluffy ponies were the "mane" attraction for town youngsters.
Whitford Hall and Dodderhill School nursery pupils have recently been learning about animals and pets.
Over the past few weeks, they have enjoyed visits from hamsters, cats and dogs.
With Christmas approaching, their teacher Lydia Bone hoped a donkey could attend a class but her efforts were fruitless.
But luckily for her Crutch Lane students, Hadley Riding Stables, near Droitwich Spa, came to rescue and said it could send two of its best behaved ponies to the school.
The two animals spent the morning with the three and four-year-olds, who learned about the similarities and differences between humans and other animals.
Mrs Bone said: "It was an interesting morning and thanks must go to the riding stables for sending the ponies."
