ENVIRONMENTAL health experts have issued advice on security alarms to ensure all Spa residents enjoy a peaceful Christmas and New Year.
Wychavon District Council is often contacted to turn off persistently ringing alar-ms which can end up becoming a noise nuisance.
A new leaflet, prepared by the district council, urges town householders to make sure security devices are fitted with a 20-minutes cut-out device.
Residents are encou-raged to ask a neighbour or friend to act as a key holder while they are away.
The leaflet includes a form for owners of intruder alarms to complete and return to the council with details of keyholders.
Leaflets are available from the One Stop Shop, in Droitwich High Street.
