SAILING: Trimpley's GP14 competition between Ray Drury and Rob Hart remains tight.
Drury and crew Richard Turnock squeezed home by a mere 10 seconds from Hart and Paul Wooddisse in the first race.
Newcomers Dave Collins and crew Nick Other battled to third.
Hart and Wooddisse led by a whisker to within 10 yards of the line in the second only to be passed by the Drury and Turnock boat.
Matthew Hibberd was the only Optimist sailor.
There was fierce competition between Tom Fletcher and his father Simon in the Noon Frostbite Series.
Fletcher junior took the race with his crew Andy Calder.
In the Main Series, John Hingley and crew Ian Bradley beat T Fletcher with S Fletcher and crew Terry Bolton in third place.
In a shorter third race, Hingley claimed the honours again followed by Calder and S Fletcher.
Calder, new to sailing, won the race on handicap, while Eddie Hillman was the only Laser racer.
