KINGS Norton are bidding to go into the second half of the season on a high with a win over Coventry Welsh on Saturday.

The Coventry side are just two places and one point ahead of third from bottom Kings in the Midlands West Four South, and an away win for Mark Waudby's men (ko 2.30pm) could hoist them away from the relegation trapdoor.

The Kings skipper said he was unconcerned by a 10-7 loss to lower league Alcester at the weekend.

Full back John Holland and winger Martin Auster are set to return at the weekend.
