STOURPORT angler Duncan Hind used an appetiser to take 13 trout to 3lb at Shatterford Fishery.

Other anglers opted for cats whiskers and caught 14 trout to 3lb and 11 to 3.5lb.

The Erics coarse lake yielded four carp to 23lb to strawberry and cream boilies, while fishmeal boilies lured six carp to 18lb and sweet corn and luncheonmeat were used to catch a 30lb mixed bag.

On the Stuarts, two brothers used boilies to take nine carp to 23lb and sweetcorn accounted for 40lb of bream and roach.

Maggots and casters were used on the Stella for a 60lb mixed catch and one angler caught 30lb of roach with maggots.

The fishery will be closed on Christmas Day but open as usual over the New Year.
