BRINTONS Athletic and Bewdley Town shared the points in a West Midlands League Division One South derby.
Bewdley had to field midfielder Gavin Smith in goal as regular keeper Ian Harvey was missing with flu along with Duncan Taylor.
Brintons started well but the visitors slowly began to take control, being denied by goalkeeper Jim Pickett on three occasions.
However, the home side went ahead against the run of play when striker Steve Mares was left unmarked to power home a header against his former club.
Bewdley equalised just before half-time when Grant Gibbs crossed for John Hardiman to slide the ball in at the near post.
An end-to-end second half saw Bewdley take the lead when Matthew Allsopp coolly converted a spot-kick for handball.
But Brintons levelled the scores from a Scott Mullen corner which Dwight Carter headed in at the far post.
Meanwhile, Bewdley must replay their League Cup clash with Great Wyrley, which they won 3-1, as the referee only played 10 minutes each way in extra-time due to fading light.
Fixture, Saturday: Bustleholme v Bewdley Town (League, kick-off 1.45pm, players to meet at Waggon and Horses at noon or Comberton Hill at 12.15pm).
