Evesham: Randolph Adolph Koch, a clerk from Pinvin, was summoned for being drunk on October 28. The defendant pleaded guilty. PC Smith stated that he found the defendant on the highway very drunk. He assisted him home. Fined 4s 6d and 5s 6d costs.

November 20, 1926
Evesham: Percy Roland Neale, a garage hand from Bridge Street, Evesham, was summoned for riding a bicycle without a light at Evesham on October 27. PC Robinson said he saw the defendant at 6.15pm in Elm Road, riding without a light. Defendant told him the carbide had just given out, but the witness found the lamp to be cold. Defendant admitted riding a short distance without a light and was fined 9s 4d.

Evesham: After an hour's discussion of the proposals to move Evesham's bus station from High Street to Merstow Green at a town council meeting, Councillor C H Alcock suggested that a better site might be the plot of land behind the Borough Treasurer's office in High Street. It was decided to adjourn further action for a month in order that the site might be inspected.

Evesham: Contractors are expected to move on site to begin building Evesham's new swimming pool. This red letter day has been announced by the Wychavon chief executive, Mr P G Rust, who hopes to sign the contract for the project soon.
