Evesham: Harry Ingles, a labourer of Wickhamford, was summoned for being drunk on October 24. Defendant pleaded guilty. PC Groves stated that he found the defendant in a helpless state of drunkenness opposite the steam laundry. There were 13 previous convictions. Fined 10s and 5s 6d costs.

November 13, 1926
Pebworth: An accident in Pebworth, in which the driver of a Morgan three-wheeler and a dog were concerned on Sunday, resulted in the machine being damaged and the dog badly hurt. The driver, a Mr P F Harrison of Blackminster, escaped unhurt, when the dog dashed out of a drive and ran out in front of him.

Offenham: The life of the people of Offenham throughout the ages at home, in church, and on the farm, was shown last Friday and Saturday by means of an historical exhibition organised by the village's Festival of Britain committee. Earlier, it had been frankly doubted whether a not so large village was capable of producing enough material to make a worthwhile show, but in the event it was a great success.

Evesham: Employment prospects in the Vale received a boost this week when planners agreed to the change of use of the John Huggan factory in Coopers Lane, Evesham. In addition to the extra 55 jobs that will be created when T W Beach & Son Limited take over. Huggan's will also be moving to larger premises, eventually creating work for another 50 employees at the Evesham plant.
