NONE of the Redditch squad were paid after Tuesday night's 3-1 slump against Atherstone.
Manager Rod Brown fined the team their wages and said they would not see the money until their first win.
"I was embarassed on Tuesday and can honestly say that will never happen again while I'm here," said the new manager, still searching for his first win.
"If I could have done I would have given the fans their money back - it will not happen again."
Moves to bring in Halesowen Town striker Kerry Giddins on loan look set to fall through after a counter offer Brown's former side Stourport, who this week unveiled veteran striker Tim Langford as their new manager.
But Brown has been offered Yeltz striker Alfie Carter in a similar deal.
The Scot has made a seven day approach for Rushall's former Stourbridge defender Chris Homer and is looking at forward Craig Hawkins.
The Aussie was a professional with Division One side Brisbane United and has played twice for struggling Oldbury United after moving over here for work reasons.
And Brown is running the rule over a couple of unnamed former Reds youngsters.
