A LATE strike from midfielder Ben Davies put Harriers top of Avon Insurance League Division Two with a 1-0 win over Halifax Town.
They dominated at Aggborough but came up against stubborn resistance and missed a number of chances.
Ian Foster, Daire Doyle and Drewe Broughton all came close to breaking the deadlock.
But after a triple substitution, Davies struck on 84 minutes when Foster and Andy Ducros had shots blocked.
Harriers: Danby, Davies, Joy, Ayres, Shail, Doyle, Bird, Ducros, Broughton, Foster, Shilton. Subs: Corbett, Faulds, Lewis, Webb.
