GRANT Davis, David Jones and Alan Gardner were wearing the Fur Hats after last weekend's Fur and Feather contest.

The annual match took place on a frost-damaged river and was enjoyed by all participants.

There will be a Scramble this Sunday and members will be informed of the venue after a check on river conditions. Draw 7.45-8am at bankside.

Evesham and District AA

MEMBERS can take advantage of a trio of festive fishing matches during Christmas week starting with a Wychavon Qualifier on Town and Common Road Waters on Saturday. Draw at Ferry Cafe.

Next Thursday, December 27, it's the Fed-Up Open and two days later there were will be Ticket Monies and Optional Pools with a 9am draw. Book in at local tackle shops.

Tunnel Barn Farm

CHANGING weather conditions have led to a topsy-turvy scene on all Pools.

Most Top Pool pegs have produced plenty of small carp with pellet best for skimmer bream on pegs 18-29.

There have been lots of small perch, roach and chub taken on maggot on the Bottom Pool, while double figure catches have been taken on House One where pegs 9, 10 29, 30 and 31 have been the most prolific.

Carp have been showing on House Two with 20lbs needed to win a club match. Plenty of orf have been showing to worm hard on bottom.

Sport on The canal has been slow but some roach and perch have been netted from pegs 6-15.
