A SUPERMARKET competition has resulted in three benches being presented to Kidderminster schools.
The Swan Centre's branch of Waitrose took up the challenge to sell 10p reusable "bags for life" and convert the cash into the outdoor furniture.
After selling more than any other of the 12 branches in their area group - a 600 per cent increase on the week before - three schools will benefit.
Franche First School, Chestnut Grove, Holy Trinity School, Birmingham Road, and Blakebrook Special School, Bewdley Road, were the lucky trio.
"It was a super effort by everyone at the store," said section manager Lin Webley.
