A DRUNKEN man repeatedly hurled abuse outside a Worcester nightclub because doormen would not let him in to collect his friend's coat.
Brett Marsh refused to calm down when a police officer walked over to find out what the problem was outside Le Mango, in Angel Place, on Friday, December 14.
John Barnett, prosecuting at Droitwich Magistrates Court, said PC Brian Berry's attention was drawn to the club when he saw someone remonstrating with staff at 10.40pm.
PC Barry asked what the matter was and Marsh claimed the club had ''done'' his friend.
"He was asked to calm down but carried on, saying 'Those bastards threw us out, I'm not having it'," added Mr Barnett.
PC Berry said the warehouse worker was clearly drunk.
"He was told the best thing for him was to go home, but he wouldn't accept the officer's advice and kept trying to go back to the door," Mr Barnett added.
Marsh then walked towards Angel Place shouting and swearing, which was when he was arrested.
The 20-year-old, of Charlands Court, Droitwich, who had no previous convictions, admitted being drunk and disorderly.
Charles Hamer, defending, said he was conscious his client's behaviour that night was far from acceptable.
"He had reluctantly gone out that evening and had drunk a very, very substantial amount of alcohol before he and his friend were asked to leave," he said.
"He was told he could pick up his friend's coat at the front door but the doorman there was having none of it.
"It was because he was drunk that he became offensive."
Magistrates fined Marsh £70 with £55 costs.
