TWO talented young artists have helped to win their schools a new computer after beating 500 other pupils in a competition to design the best Christmas card.

Emma Hilton, aged seven of Kempsey Primary School won the four to 11 years category with her snowman design.

And Daniel Thomas, aged 12, of Nunnery Wood High School, scooped the 11-16 age group with his festive card.

Both youngsters will also receive a personal gift of £100 of Argos vouchers along with the Evesham.com computers complete with colour printers and speakers, which will benefit both schools.

The judges were Tony Fisher and Katy Butler of Wyvern FM's Morning Crew.

"We were so pleased with the response as it was nice to do something for the local community, and we are looking towards doing the same for next year," said Adrian Edwards, managing director of Edwards Mitsubishi and Edwards Baynall Garage who organised the competition.

"I'd like to thank everyone for taking part and wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and prosperous New Year."
