Pantomime is great family fun but no one enjoys the festive spectacular more than children.

The Gazette & Reporter decided to give the 'experts' an opportunity to have their say on the offering at Malvern Theatres.

Josh Fernie, aged 12, and his friend, Jimmy Woodyatt, aged 10, are both from Ryall, near Upton-upon-Severn.

Here's what they had to say about Cinderella.

Josh: "This is a pantomime you cannot miss. The opening night got off to a good start with a full house. It was full of great jokes, the greatest of costumes, especially the glamourous Hardup Sisters, playing the Ugly Sisters.

"You'd love the great singing from all the characters, as they sing some of the latest songs in the chart now.

"Chris Jarvis, who plays Buttons, is very funny, he gets the audience going and does great impressions. The lighting gave a good atmosphere, coupled with the scenery, making the whole stage spectacular. You could be asked up on stage with Chris Jarvis."

Jimmy: "Cinderella - yes, you shall go to the ball! I'm not usually a great admirer of panto, but this has converted me.

"The costumes and music were wonderful, especially the S Club 7 hit Have You Ever, and the tap dancing.

"Buttons did some wonderful impressions of birds and animals with a few celebrity impressions thrown in for good measure.

"The Hardup Sisters were an absolute scream, as big and ugly as you can get, with costumes to die for.

"All in all, this was definitely a night to remember."
