DROITWICH Archery Society staged another successful indoor tournament at Worcester's Perdiswell Leisure Centre with 84 archers battling for top awards.
The round which is called 'Worcester' consisted of 60 arrows at 20 yards with a maximum total score of 300.
First in the women's recurve bow section was Sue Davis of Redhill Archers, scoring 279 followed by Lisa Shough of Droitwich with 271 and Phillipa Lowe of Meriden with 268.
First in the men's recurve bow section was Danny Clifford of Llantarnam Bowmen with a score of 293 closely followed by Roy Nash of Redhill scoring 292 and third P Clarke of Stourbridge Archers also with 292.
In the Compound Bow section, Sheila Harris of Redhill Archers took first place scoring 299. Second was Karen Wells-Richardson also of Redhill with 289 and third Jean Draper of Droitwich scoring 284.
Some excellent shooting in the men's Compound section saw Dave Roberts of South Moorland score 298, with Eric Thomas of Redditch second on 297 with Lloyd Burton of Evesham third with 296.
In the team awards, winners of the Droitwich Plate were Meriden with 1122, while Droit-wich were runners-up with 1100.
In the Garrington Cup round for Recurve, Droitwich are leading with 10 points, with Evesham in second place with nine points and Redditch eight.
In the Compound Division, Droitwich are in second place behind Redhill Archers.
