HEREFORD United's hopes of a Boxing Day win to boost their Nationwide Conference standing face a stern test with a trip to rivals Telford United (1pm).
The Shropshire-based side dashed Dagenham & Redbridge aims of claiming a Christmas top spot with a 5-1 victory.
Telford, who climbed two places into fourth position while Daggers remain in second place, one point behind leaders Boston, have won six of their last seven matches and scored 21 goals.
United caretaker boss Phil Robinson is anxious to see his side climb the table but admits Telford will be tough.
"Their current form is quite good and they've been on a good run so it won't be easy," he said.
Robinson has injury worries over Alex Kevan (foot), Ian Rodgerson (hamstring), Matt Baker (calf) and John Snape (calf) but will be keen to see his strikers find the net.
Hereford have won just once in seven matches and scored just four times including two in the 3-2 FA Cup defeat against Swindon Town.
