PERSHORE Rugby Club have been rewarded for knocking Newport out of the North Midlands Cup with a home draw in the semi-finals.
But Pershore will have to wait until January 20 before they know who they will meet for a place in the final because the county cup has again been delayed by rearranged league matches and Powergen Intermediate Cup commitments.
The delayed Camp Hill v Kidderminster Carolians first round tie has now been rescheduled for December 29 with the winners of that tie meeting Aston OE in the quarter-finals on January 20. The winners of that match will then travel to Pershore in the semi-finals on February 20.
The other semi-finals will be between the winners of the Bromsgrove v Telford quarter-final, which is due to be played on December 30, and Malvern or Luctonians, whose quarter-final has been put back to January 19 or 20.
But Telford have requested a postponement of their quarter-final because they have a number of players away over Christmas and the New Year.
