JOHN Brain is sweating on the fitness of a number of key players before the Midland derby with Moseley on Saturday.
Worcester Rugby Club's head coach has worries over fly-half Steven Vile, forwards Christian Evans, Andy Collins and Richard Nias after a flu bug hit the Sixways camp. Brain will make a decision today on the final 22 as Worcester look to get back to winning ways in National One following their 21-10 defeat at Exeter almost three weeks ago.
Many of the squad have not played competitively since that game but for Brain, the lay-off has not been a problem.
"The players have trained very well and we have worked on a number of areas since the Exeter defeat," he said.
"What I am looking for is a performance. We have had a number of disappointing performances lately and we need to put that right.
"Moseley will feel they have something to prove after we beat them 50-3 earlier in the season. However, there have been very positive signs in training."
