TESTIMONY Films is making a documentary about the home front during the First World War (1914-18) and we are looking for interviewees from around the country.
Were you on the home front during the First World War?
During this conflict when many men went off to fight, those left behind also had a vital role to play.
Before the war a woman's place had been firmly in the home, but now women took the place of men.
In the cities they endured dangerous conditions in munitions factories, and worked to keep Britain's transport system running.
In the countryside they joined "The Women's Land Army", reclaiming land and bringing in the harvest.
Children were also expected to contribute to the war effort and many left school to start work.
People on the home front lived under the threat of attack from the sea and air.
Night-time bombing raids from planes and zeppelins caused huge damage and loss of lives.
Every man, woman and child was affected by the war.
