BURGLARS caused thousands of pounds worth of damage but fled empty handed after bungled raids at homes in Kidderminster and Bewdley.
In the first incident, intruders tried to force entry through a window at a house in Woodthorpe Drive, Bewdley, but failed.
The attempted break-in happened between 2.20pm and 6.20pm on Friday, December 14.
In a second separate incident, raiders managed to gain entry to a garden in Barrie Avenue, Kidderminster, but failed to get into the house.
Damage totalling £2,000 was caused in the incident which happened between 6.45pm and 6.55pm on Friday.
Raiders also made off following a further unsuccessful break-in at a home in Wolverley where they were disturbed by occupants returning to their house in Kingsford Lane.
At least four people took part in the break-in which happened between 10.25am and 3.15pm on Friday.
