IT certainly wasn't a bad hair day for Laura Cocker when her tresses were transformed by students from Evesham College last Thursday.

She was part of a Hair and Beauty competition, to celebrate the end of term and their NVQ successes.
Hair and Beauty Section Manager, Jayne Clarke said: "The theme this year was 'The Theatre' and all the students took part in teams
There were some wonderful hairstyles and amazingly imaginative nails."
Makeover of the Year Award went to Louise Benfield and Lucy Atkinson for their Midsummer Night's Dream hairstyle, and joint winners in the best nails category were Rachael Grimmit for her 'Purple Passion Christmas Party' and Gemma Weaver for her 'Magical Nail Tree."
Mrs Clarke said: "We were also celebrating after receiving a very good Ofsted report."
She added that the college would soon be interviewing prospective students for next year's NVQ level 2 and level 3 courses. Qualified students then go on to work in beauty salons, health farms and cruise ships."
