WORCESTERSHIRE County Council's head of education, Julien Kramer presented achievement awards at Han-ley Castle High School.
The Lechmere Medal for service to the school was awarded to Tom Stockwell, accepted by his mother as he is currently carrying out missionary work in Kazakhstan.
Outstanding achievement awards went to Mark Spybey, Richard Morris and Naomi Cartwright, all of whom received nine or more A*s at GCSE level this summer.
Sarah D'Oyley, Robert McNeil and Guy Tolley were recognised for their achieving three A-grades at A-level.
"They were very difficult decisions to make as there were so many outstanding achievers to choose from," said head Alan Johnston.
More than 200 ex-pupils attended the event to receive certificates from the exams they sat in the summer.
