DINES Green Juniors have become only the second team in Worcestershire to gain a Charter Standard award from the Football Association.
The Worcester club, which fields an under 12 team in the Stourport Youth League, were rewarded for the provision of quality football and a commitment to make the club a safe place for children to play at. Club volunteers have attended child protection training.
The Worcestershire FA's Football Development Officer Andy Norman said: "The award shows both parents and children alike that Dines Green are a well-organised club that not only look to develop the talents of all the children, but also look after their welfare at the same time."
Worcester-based Lyppard Rangers also won a similar award recently.
