EVERYTHING in the garden will soon be rosy for a children's hospice when it receives a £500 boost from Worcester Floral Arrangement Society.
The money was raised for Acorns Children's Hospice Trust after Andrew Grisewood, a national flower demonstrator from York, came to demonstrate Christmas flower arrangements at the society last month.
"His talk was called It's Christmas and he showed some wonderful Christmas flower arrangements," said Joan Baker, chairman of the society.
"People paid to see him and most of the money raised for the hospice was from that."
The society, which usually meets up on the first Friday of each month at Hallow Parish Hall, will present the cheque to Mike Cartledge from the Acorns Children's Hospice Trust at 7.30pm on Friday, January 11.
"It takes place on the same night as our event Garden Question Time," said Mrs Baker.
"The gardening guys from BBC Hereford & Worcester, Reg Moule and Mike George, will be answering questions."
