MUSICIANS from all backgrounds and nationalities are being urged to come forward to take part in a new international music evening in Evesham.
Evesham & Pershore Racial Equality Network is organising the festival for Monday, February 11.
But it needs musicians, singers and dancers from backgrounds ranging from Asian, Chinese and Indian to Scottish and Welsh to come forward.
International
"We want to provide a truly international programme," said a spokeswoman for the organisers.
"Unfortunately, it would have to be on a voluntary basis as we're a new group with very little funding.
"But if anyone wants to help us with our aim of promoting greater understanding and respect between all racial groups in our community, we'd love to hear from them."
Anyone able to help should call 01386 41397.
