TWO Rubery teachers who have spent most of their working lives teaching in Worcestershire have been rewarded for their dedication.
Cynthia Beckett and Ian Dent, both from Holywell Primary School and Nursery, in Gunner Lane, travelled to Worcester's County Hall to receive their commemorative pl-ates for 25 years service.
They were among a number of teachers around the county, many of which were from Bromsgrove, who received the award on Tuesday, December 11.
Nursery teacher Cynthia has been working in Rubery for 25 years and told the Advertiser/Messenger, she still loves her job.
"My teaching career has been challenging and extremely rewarding, the children have been wonderful and I have loved every minute."
Mr Dent said: "My job has changed over the past few years but I have enjoyed it."
Both teachers have taught more than 1,000 children each.
