AS a long-servicing former school governor, myself and others were exasperated at penny-pinching successive Conservative Worcestershire County Councillors who put Worcestershire deliberately at the bottom of the pile for financial payment per pupil.
One cannot expect the current Government to wave a magic wand and put right all the Tory wrongs in one or two sessions.
May I respectfully suggest that Cledwyn-Davies of Droitwich High School notes what happened to Railtrack executives and the rail network when too much time was spent on politics rather than running the rail net work.
Give the Government a chance to rectify this wrong and all you Tories jumping on this bandwagon, remember - your lot caused the problem.
BRUCE THOMAS, Droitwich Spa.
