HAVING been fortunate enough to visit Worcester, Massachusetts, twice with Worcester Cathedral Choir, I always try to read the weekly report Across the Pond. I was very pleased therefore to read the name of Edla Ann Bloom as being the director of a major Aids charity in that area.
Edla and her husband Randy provided myself and five other Cathedral Lay Clerks with wonderful hospitality in their magnificent home situated in Shrewsbury, which lies just over Worcester's boundary line.
Nothing was too much trouble for these lovely people and how they fitted entertaining us into their busy work schedule never ceased to amaze me.
TONY JOHNSON, Worcester.
