THE chairman of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust takes up his new position this week.
Michael O'Riordan was appointed in December to replace Harold Musgrove and began his new role yesterday.
Mr O'Riordan said he was keen to make sure all staff worked together 'to tackle the challenges and significant opportunities facing the trust.'
Mr O'Riordan said: "Based upon my experience at Sandwell, I want to see the development of robust partnerships throughout the county with the object of providing the best possible care for the people of Worcestershire."
