FECKENHAM assistant manager Mark Campion has tipped leaders Grosvenor Park to take the Midland Combination title - but says the Millers can finish second.
Grosvenor, formerly Sutton Coldfield, are 11 points ahead of fifth placed Feckenham with a game in hand and Campion says they cannot be caught.
If Feckenham finish second they could still have a chance of promotion to the Midland Alliance if the champions did not have an adequate ground, or in Grosvenor's case, did not have the required lease in their groundshare arrangement.
The Millers boosted their lofty hopes with a 2-1 win over Handsworth Continental Star in the only Premier Division game to escape the freeze last week.
New signing Carl Fairhurst made it three in two and fellow arrival Dean Meyrick opened his account on his second start for the club.
Manager Clive Campion avoided a selection headache for the 3-3 draw at second placed Romulus at the weekend with Brian Powell injured.
But with Andy Underwood set to be back in contention after a reaction to his toe injury ruled him out of the postponed match against Coleshill, and Powell targeting yesterday's postponed derby clash at home to Alvechurch for a comeback, the Millers boss will have to pick three from his four in-form forwards at Leamington on Saturday (ko 1.30pm).
And fellow striker Richard Hadley has decided to stay and battle for his place when his five week suspension is up at the end of the month.
The Millers visit Division One crowd-pullers Leamington in the third round of the Endsleigh Challenge Cup on Saturday.
Leamington lie third in the lower division with an unbeaten record and boast the highest 12 attendances of the season before Christmas with 517 their best gate this season.
A trip to Cheslyn Hay or Coventry Sphinx is the prize for the victors and Feckenham face another big away day after being drawn against Midland Alliance big guns Bromsgrove Rovers in the Worcestershire Senior Cup.
The tie has to be played by the end of the month and officials are hoping to stage it in the next ten days.
