STUDLEY manager Mark Chambers was ready to field his sixth goalkeeper of the season until frost intervened for the postponed Barwell match.
The Studley boss lined up Reds shot-stopper Martyn Lakin with number one Matt Pugh unavailable and reserve Duncan Turk struggling with a back injury.
Keith Beasley, Matt Jones and Dave Adey have played for BKL this season but with Pugh uncertain for the trip to Halesowen Harriers at the weekend, Chambers did not rule out Lakin, recovering from a back problem.
BKL lost three games with the Boxing Day fixture against Stratford postponed and a 0-0 draw with Harriers followed by the postponement of yesterday's match against Stourbridge.
But there was good news on the injury front with former Reds midfielder Gavin Barratt just a week or two away from a return.
Barratt injured his knee in a fall but returned to light training before visiting his parents in Canada over Christmas and is hoping to be back in the frame after Saturday's trip to basement boys Cradley Town (ko 3pm).
Winger Andy Devlin is doubtful along with long-term absentee Ross Knight.
