YOU may have just found Kylie, Harry Potter and yoga but, unfortunately, there's no time for resting on your laurels because it's all so-o-o-o-o 2001.
It's out with the old and in with the new with the arrival of 2002, and some of the big-hitters of 2001 just won't have lasting power.
It's time to do your homework and catch up with what's what in 2002 and so you're not left behind, Sherna Noah's come up with some pointers.
FILM
In: With so many big-hitters being released in 2002, it will be a bonanza year for film. George Lucas' Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, starring Ewan McGregor and Samuel L Jackson, is sure to come out on top however.
But Spider Man, Scooby Doo, Monsters Inc, the new James Bond film, Bond 20, starring Halle Barry and Pierce Brosnan, and the sequels to The Lord of the Rings hit of 2001 will all be huge.
Out: Tom Cruise is already losing the battle for public sympathy with former wife Nicole Kidman. But he's set for worse this year. Vanilla Sky, in which he stars alongside new lover Penelope Cruz, has been panned by some critics ahead of its UK opening on Friday, January 25.
Johnny Depp's bid to resurrect his ailing career with the flick From Hell, which is about Jack the Ripper and opens in February, also looks doomed to failure, partly because of Depp's unconvincing London accent.
FASHION
In: Gipsy tops were huge last year but they haven't had their day. Their off-the-shoulder frilly look flatters nearly every female form.
The gipsy look, which started with Yves Saint Laurent, is set to be one of the biggest looks of the summer, with cotton tops and floral prints in anarchic cuts matched with coloured cords and stretch jeans.
Out: You may have only just bought your corsets, puffed sleeve tops, frilly knickers and tulle skirts at a cut price in the January sales but, unfortunately, the time for wearing them's now over. Take them to the charity shops.
Corsets and stockings looked great worn by Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge but, when Cilla Black donned her own version in The Royal Variety Show, it was clear they'd definitely had their day, as had the graffiti-daubed look led by Louis Vuitton.
ACTOR/ACTRESS:
In: Sheridan Smith's currently best known as Anthony's girlfriend in The Royle Family.
But Sheridan, who has also appeared in Holby City, is set to be big in her own right in 2002, playing a young prostitute alongside Caroline Quentin and Paul McGann in a new ITV production Blood Strangers, which looks at the effect teenage prostitution has on two respectable British families.
Out: 2002 may not be a good year for former EastEnder Martine McCutcheon. The 25-year-old will have to work hard to relaunch her career after pulling out of the West End production of My Fair Lady five months early because of ill health.
The star was praised for her performances as Eliza Doolittle but, after disappointing so many fans with her frequent absences, will have to prove herself before she's given another big venture.
MUSIC
In: Shakira's a Latin star waiting in the wings to be the next big thing. She has already sold more than eight million albums in Latin America and is releasing her first English language album - Laundry Service.
She's looking to take a chunk of the market presently occupied by Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin. Her debut single Whenever, Whatever reached the Top 10.
Out: It looks as though Hear'Say are about to have their downfall. The band's album Everybody has done far worse than expected in the charts and Shaggy pipped Pure and Simple to the title of best-selling single of the year.
Myleene, Danny, Kym, Suzanne and Noel might find their fame, though huge in 2001, is short-lived.
HAIR
In: What a relief! Hair will be natural but quirky, a look which sits nicely with the gipsy but anarchic look for fashion in 2002. It won't be as structured as it has been in 2001 gone are the sharp fringes and will be easier to wear and more feminine looking.
Out: TV presenter Carol Vorderman certainly isn't going to lead the way in hairstyles, after she was voted the celebrity of 2001 with the worst hairstyle.
Another on the way out is the big bouffant hairdos which graced the catwalks in 2001 but are far too much hard work and won't make it into 2002.
HEALTH
In: Pilates is the newest in keeping-fit fads, trumpeted by Julia Carling. The Pilates (pi-lah-tis) method of body conditioning was developed over 75 years and continues to go from strength to strength.
The days of Pilates being labelled the fitness world's best-kept secret will be long gone.
Out: Yoga, spearheaded by Geri Halliwell's video and amazing weight loss, was very big in 2001.
But it looks set to remain there. After months of trying, we've become disenchanted (none of us look like the former Ginger Spice).
SHOWBIZ ROMANCE
In: Kylie Minogue looks set to stay at least for now with James Gooding, despite his alleged infidelities.
Zoe Ball and her hubby Norman Cook are tipped to want a brother and sister for young Woody.
Things also seem strong in Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz's relationship, with marriage tipped to be on the cards.
Out: But it's not thought, however, that Big Brother's romance of 2001 between Paul Clarke and Helen Adams will last and the couple are likely to have to cope with dwindling fame and fortunes as the Big Brother 1 crew found.
