The incident is believed to have taken place after the victim walked along the alleyway that runs along Langdale Drive, Warndon, into the children's play area.
The 18-year-old told police the incident took place in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday, December 25.
Police want to talk to anyone who may have information, or may have witnessed the assault, particularly a man who may have talked with either the girl or the offender in the park," said Det Con Julie Price.
